Mark an item as new or on sale

Overview

Cut+Dry offers built-in categories for New Arrival or On Sale items, at the very top of your catalog's navigation menu. Any new or sale item will also display with a special banner or tag everywhere it shows up in your catalog.

Tip: Items can be marked as both as a New Arrival and On Sale.

Follow these steps to flag your new and sale items for browsing customers.

Select Catalog from the navigation menu, then use the search box to find and select your item.
Select the Pricing & Promotions tab.
Toggle on (green) On Sale and/or New Arrival, as applicable.
Tip: Items can be marked as both On Sale and as a New Arrival.
Optionally, for sale items, have Cut+Dry display a decorative-only calculated markdown price.

Example

Adjusting the values in the Sales Type and Sale Value fields changes the markdown information that your customer sees in the catalog—Cut+Dry does NOT alter the prices in your ERP system.

The fields are optional. You can instead simply flag an item as On Sale and its sale price will show without any special markdown.
The Price ($) field shows the value sent over from your ERP; if it's on sale in your ERP, this shows your current sale price.

Example image: Your ERP told the app that a bottle is on sale for $9.00. By adding a Sale Value—which is the amount they are saving—of $10.00 here, the app will show the product as normally $19.00 (9+10), marked down to $9.00, in both your catalog and any order guides.
